As part of on-going efforts to support health care and community development in their homeland, the Isuikwuato Women Union, Houston Texas, USA has donated medical equipment to Umuobiala health centre, Isuikwuato, in Abia State.
Speaking while handing over the medical equipment to the community leaders, the liaison officer of Isuikwuato Women Union, Houston Texas, Sir. Ekeh Ojiaku highlighted the union's commitment to fostering development in Isuikwuato, and emphasized that the gesture was not just a one-time act but part of a long term plan to address pressing community needs.
He acknowledged that access to quality healthcare is of essence to any thriving community, and maintained that they will not relent in contributing their quota to the wellbeing of the people.
The President General of Umobiala Development Union, Dr. Christian Afulike while receiving the medical equipment on behalf of the community, expressed deep gratitude to Isuikwuato Women Union in Houston Texas, USA for their benevolence, and noted that the equipment would significantly enhance the capacity of the health centre to provide better medical services to people in the community.
