MRS. EMETU SET TO COLLABORATE SWAN ON PAD A GIRL PROJECT

 The Wife of the Deputy Governor of Abia State, Mrs. Adaeze Emetu has expressed readiness to support members of Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria, SWAN Umuahia chapter in their forthcoming Pad a girl project.

Mrs. Emetu while receiving in her office at the Government House, Umuahia the delegation of SWAN, which is the female wing of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, ICAN said that she will make provision for organic sanitary pads for the project, and assured that her foundation, Adaeze Emetu Care foundation will be willing to partner SWAN.

She commended the association for taking up humanitarian services with the hope of impacting positively people in the communities.

Earlier in an address, the Chairperson of SWAN Umuahia chapter, Mrs. Nnenna Mba revealed that their association takes part in humanitarian activities aside their job as Accountants, and further disclosed that they operate a scheme known as "Accountants Technical Scheme" where brilliant indigent students are trained to become professionals.
