The wife of the governor of Abia State Mrs. Priscilla Otti has visited Agape Charity home Avodim Ubakala in Umuahia south local government area, and St. Vincent De Paul Centre for the mentally and physically challenged at Umuahia Ndume in Umuahia north local government area, and gave them cash donations and food items in the spirit of yuletide and new year celebrations.

Speaking during her visit to the centres, Mrs Otti disclosed that the present government is poised to reach out to the vulnerable groups and support their welfare.

She noted Governor Alex Otti is determined to fulfill all his campaign promises to Abians and called for support. 

The wife of the governor assured that her office through the ministry of women affairs and poverty Alleviation will assist them in solving their challenges when reported to her. 

The wife of the governor commended the Matrons  and caregivers of the centres for their selfless services to humanity and prayed God to bless them. 

In their responses, the matron of Agape Charity home Ubakala, Lady Rose Okoronkwo and the mother superior of St Vincent De Paul Centre for the mentally and physically challenged, Rev Sister Getrude Ukawoko thanked the wife of the governor for the visit and kind gesture towards them, pointed out that it is a source of encouragement and prayed God to make successful the activities of this present government.

The wife of the governor was accompanied during the visit by some top government officials in the state.
